WEB DESIGN FOR BEGINNERS: DESIGN YOUR FIRST WEB SITE

with Macromedia Dreamweaver (or free shareware equivalent to be provided as part of the course).

 

Construct a simple personal or small business static web site.

Course covers: defining site goals and interactive structure; handling text; preparing images for the web; web page design; creating internal and external links; inserting Flash animations and music; and uploading your finished pages to your remote server.

Ideally, you will bring some text and images with you, preferably on your own laptop. If this is not possible, bring some images on a digital camera or memory stick/flash drive and your web pages created here will be copied onto them or onto DVD.

Please contact us in advance of the course if you require help to find a company to host your web site.

Time required: depending on complexity of your proposed site and your existing computer skills: 2-3 days.

Course fee: 75€ per day (excludes accommodation and food.)
